Biography

Samuel Gorohouna is associate professor in economics at the University of New Caledonia and researcher at LARJE. His areas of research concern inequalities in the labor market and in access to housing. He is also working on the entry of indigenous peoples into the market economy, on greening taxation and electoral behavior. His teaching activities cover the areas of microeconomics and development economics, particularly that of small regional economies. He is a member of the university’s board of directors and responsible for the Baco campus located in Koné.
