In the current Anthropocene era the new recovery path for managing social and healthcare calls for service delivery integration. New Caledonian Do-Kamo health plan follows the new credo acted by the British NHS Five years forward view reform. Smaller countries and decentralized regions have become leaders in experimenting integrated care.  At the micro level the health and wellbeing precinct project currently launched by the University of Wollongong to integrate research and teaching environments with non-surgical health care and aged-care facilities highlights the strategic dimension of integration for high education organizations. This paper explores the commonalities of issues raised within the Pacific region to explore the possible timeliness and scientific relevance of collaborative research on social and health care integration into Pacific perspectives.
